Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Killer "Slipknot!"s?

Can anybody direct me to a sick Slipknot!? I know there are a lot of threads about best Help>Slip!>Frank's but I'm just interested in the Slip! portion. I just listened to 6-9-77 and it is pretty good, any suggestions?

10-11-1977 Norman Latvala was right about this one...
05-15-1983 Greek Theatre...tight, with old school riffs
06-14-1991 JFK
09-10-1991 MSG w/ Branford Marsalis
09-22-1993 MSG

This one is particularly artful, sandwiching a very nice Samson:

The AUD on LMA doesn't suck, but the immaculate SBD has been released commercially on DP33, and is well worth buying.

I can't remember specifically which ones are best, but June 1976 in general is a good month for Slipknot!s.

I like this one; http://www.archive.org/details/gd1976-10-09.aud.fix-10179.tetzeli.sbeok.83819.flac16 Saint Stephen -> Not Fade Away -> Saint Stephen -> Help On The Way -> Slipknot! -> Drums -> Samson And Delilah -> Slipknot! -> Franklin's Tower -> One More Saturday Night

Actually I did complete third grade and just got a 2220 on the SAT. Since I wanted to include the exclamation point that is in fact part of the title, I pluralized it like I did. Slipknot!s doesn't look correct to me whereas Slipknot!'s does. However, I did not realize that my mechanics were going to be scrutinized and therefore, did not give it much thought. I believe now that the plural is most likely "Slipknot!"s but I'm still not sure as it is a tricky case. Thanks to everyone else for your suggestions!

Just a thought.

June 76 Slipknot!'s.....you can't go wrong.

Everybody watch dtrailen's posts for errors or typos.....or would it be easier to invite him to join the Official LMA Asshole!'s Club?

Welcome aboard!

I am aware that Slipknot's is the possessive of Slipknot, but what to do with that pesky exclamation point?
